Robert McGovern was the founder and CEO of The PenChart Corporation. The PenChart Corporation developed Electronic Medical Record-EMR software for physician practices. The companies "PenChart Suite" of product's was one of the first wireless products to be widely embraced by physicians as a stand alone paperless office.
The PenChart Corporation was acquired by Pfizer Pharmaceuticals as the centerpiece of a joint venture between Pfizer, IBM and Microsoft called Amicore.
Bob currently works as an independent consultant for Roaring Brook Advisors, LLC. He holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Central Connecticut State University. Bob is married and has a son who was one of Cody Camp’s best friends.
